“I always knew his heart was in the right place,” said Mayor Alan Casavant. “Because of his love of kids and his love of community, he now has a solid program that does good work.”
Santa Bil's Workshop is proudly in its 8th year helping to bring smiles to the faces of children in Maine. Started in a back room out of the Christ Episcopal Church we provide presents, decorations and trees to those in need of assistance. We began as a Christmas program for the In a Pinch non-food pantry. Santa Bil's has evolved our mission and currently operate as our own non profit under the umbrella of Stone Soup Food Pantry. Because we receive no local or state funding it is necessary to rely on fundraisers, local business support, other non profits and donations by private citizens in order to accomplish our goals. Santa Bil's serves three communities at the present time. The first being the Greater Biddeford Area and the second the Greater Sanford Area. We expanded into the Portland area last year with great success and look forward to working with ProjectFeed and serving the Portland Area. Please check the "Program Areas" tab for your town.
